I graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a B.J. in news editorial and a B.A. in political science. In 2015, I earned a graduate marketing certificate from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business. After spending over a decade in Dallas, I now reside in Houston where I work as a communication consultant for oil and gas companies at the Fifth Business and serve as the southwest regional stringer for C-SPAN. I am available to write and edit copy on a freelance basis when time permits.
